About Niles

schoolIt is an incredible honor to serve as the principal of Niles Elementary School.  Niles is a truly unique and special community, and this is reflected in the students who walk through the school’s doors each day.

One just needs to view the exterior of our school to realize that it holds a historical place in the larger city of Fremont.  It is wonderful to know that there are members of our community who remember transitioning into this “new” building in the 1930s from the original school that opened in 1875. While the school can seem like a step back in time, it continues to provide students with a progressive education that is aligned with the California and Next Generation Science Standards. Students at Niles consistently achieve at a high level due to strong community support, a dedicated and highly qualified staff, and a clear school and district commitment to serve all students.

The staff at Niles is excited and ready to greet the 2019-20 students.  We will provide an excellent educational program by inspiring and supporting our students.  And of course we will continue our wonderful traditions such as the Back to School Barbecue, Halloween Parade, Halloween Carnival, and Bulldog Jog.

Here’s to a fun and successful year at Niles School.
